Tea
plantation tours:
India is famous for
its great variety of tea. The most famous is the one, which is grown in
Darjeeling and exported throughout the world. Summit to Sea offers a unique
trip to a few of these tea plantations on the slopes and the lower regions
of the eastern Himalayas. We will be able to combine a tea plantation tour
with a trek near Darjeeling for example the
Sandakphu route.

This year we

home of the
famous Royal Bengal tigers. A part of The National Park lies in the eastern
part of India in the state of West Bengal and has been declared a World
Heritage Site by UNESCO. We will be able to arrange customized trips to this
National Park during January through March and again from October to
December 2007. For more information, please

A trip to the source of the holiest river in India – the
Ganga:
Ganga is not only
deeply associated with Hindu mythology and religion, it’s also a
cradle of the Indian civilization. We have customized treks to the
source of
this great river at Gaumukh where the Gangotri glacier
ends and the river springs from this glacial melt, merging with many
other tributaries along the way down. The trek up to Gaumukh
(12,800 ft) is a relatively short and easy one of about 13 miles and
is accessible to individuals from the age group of 8 to 65 years (or
older, depending one one’s fitness level). For the more adventurous
trekker, the trip can be extended beyond Gaumukh across the Gangotri
glacier to Tapovan (14,640 ft) where one may spend an evening as a
guest of the hermits who spend several months every year living
along the Amar Ganga tributary. Truly an once–in-a-lifetime
experience! We customize these trips to the length of your vacation
and your budget. For more details, please visit
