Located in the Umaria district of Madhya Pradesh,it is a dense
forest encircled by cliffs and wooded Vindhyan mountains. The park has
an area of around 437 sq.km. This forest is famous for the white tiger
of Rewa. Jeep and elephant safari can be made to view the wild life. One
can also visit the majestic 14th century Bandhavgarh fort.
The best time to visit this park is between middle of November to middle of June.
Tour Schedule :
Day 1 - Arrival at Delhi and transfer to hotel
Day 2 - Travel to Umaria forest resort and spend watching wildlife in the afternoon (night halt at Umaria)
Day 3 - Take elephant and jeep ride in the jungle to watch wildlife
Day 4 - Jeep and elephant ride for wild life visit and photography
Day 5 - Jeep safari in the morning and then return to Delhi by car
